It appears that cops don’t like a citizen (subject?) recording their encounters with them. Even though this is the only defense citizens have against POTENTIAL abuse of rights, the police don’t want this. I don’t see what they have to hide? Their favorite saying is “If you’ve done nothing wrong, you have nothing to hide.” Why isn’t what’s good for the goose, good for the gander?
It’s interesting to note the states that are leading this charge… Massachusetts, Illinois, and Maryland. While Maryland doesn’t make the news all that often, their Brady score of 52 sure speaks volumes. Only 2 points behind (ahead?) of MA.
Interesting how your right to protect yourself against criminals decreases at the same rate as your right to protect yourselves against the police.
